Toyota Temporarily Halts Bookings For Rumion CNG

Owing to high demand, Toyota has temporarily halted accepting bookings for the Rumion CNG variants. The CNG powertrain is only available with Toyota Rumion’s entry-level S variant. It is expected to be back on sale in the coming months.

Bookings for the petrol variants are still underway. These variants come with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, petrol engine (103PS and 137Nm), paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The Rumion claims a fuel efficiency of 20.51 kmpl with manual and 20.11 kmpl with automatic transmission. On the other hand, its 88PS/121.5Nm CNG version claims a fuel efficiency of 26.11 km/kg.
