Toyota Taisor To Launch On This Date – Maruti Fronx-based Crossover

The Toyota Taisor, essentially the Maruti Suzuki Fronx-based compact cross SUV, now finally has a launch date. Toyota has confirmed that it will be launched on April 4, 2024.

Toyota Taisor – What To Expect

  • Similar to other Toyota-Maruti shared models, the Taisor will also come with the same powertrain options and features as the Fronx but with a few styling tweaks to differentiate it from its Suzuki counterpart.
  • The Taisor is anticipated to boast a grille reminiscent of the Toyota Hyryder, comprising split LED DRLs with chrome elements and a faux carbon fibre finish. Furthermore, the front bumper is expected to have an angular profile with a sportier air dam and faux skid plate. The main headlamp unit will be positioned on the bumper. It could also feature a unique alloy design and new pain options from its Maruti counterpart.

  • Except for a different colour scheme, we do not expect any other changes inside the cabin.
  • Underneath the hood, the Toyota Taisor will get the same 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol (90PS/113Nm), paired with manual and AMT, and a 1-litre turbocharged petrol (100PS/148NM) with manual and torque converter automatic transmission options. It is also likely to receive a factory-fitted CNG option with the 1.2-litre unit.

    • Connected car tech
    • Heads-up display
