Toyota Innova Crysta, Taisor and Rumion and Prices Hiked

Months after increasing prices of the Fortuner, Toyota has now announced a price hike of up to Rs 26,000 on the Innova Crysta, Runion and Taisor. However, the key reason behind the price increment hasn’t been cleared yet.

Toyota Innova Crysta: Up to โ‚น26,000 Price Hike

The Innova Crysta, one of the few remaining diesel MPVs in India, sees the steepest hike. Powered by a 2.4-litre diesel engine producing 150hp and 343Nm, it comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Crysta claims a fuel efficiency of 15.3 kmpl.

Toyota Rumion: Up to โ‚น12,500 Hike

The Toyota Rumion, essentially a rebadged Maruti Ertiga, gets a price bump of up to โ‚น12,500. It is offered with a 1.5-litre petrol engine (103hp/137Nm) and a CNG option (88hp/121Nm). A 5-speed manual is standard, while the petrol version also gets a 6-speed automatic.

The Urban Cruiser Taisor, a rebadged version of the Maruti Fronx, gets a relatively modest hike of up to โ‚น2,500. It is available with a 1.2L petrol, 1.0L turbo-petrol, and CNG engine options. The model offers multiple transmission choices, including manual, AMT, and 6-speed torque converter automatic.
