  • As mentioned in the above table, Toyota Glanza's G-Hybrid variant is most affected by the price hike. However, the non-hybrid G variants (both manual & CVT) are least affected by the price revision move. On the other hand, the price of top-spec V variants has been increased by up to Rs 20,000.
  • No mechanical or any other changes have been made to justify the increased prices. The Glanza premium hatchback will continue to be available with a 90PS 1.2-litre mild-hybrid petrol and an 83PS 1.2-litre petrol engine. While both engines get a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard, the non-hybrid variants can also be had with a CVT automatic transmission.

  • The price hike for the Urban Cruiser subcompact SUV ranges between Rs 2,500 to Rs 12,500. The Mid & High manual variants have witnessed the maximum price hike.
  • Similar to the Glanza, the Urban Cruise has also remained mechanically unchanged. It will retain its 1.5-liter petrol engine (105PS/138Nm) that can be had with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed torque converter automatic. The automatic trims also get the mild-hybrid system that helps to improve fuel efficiency.

The prices of the Toyota Yaris sedan and Vellfire MPV are still unaffected. For reference, currently, the Yaris retails between Rs 9.16 lakh to Rs 14.60 lakh, while the Vellfire costs Rs 87 lakh (ex-showroom).
