Toyota India has hiked the prices of its highly popular Fortuner SUV, as well as its premium version, the Fortuner Legender, by up to Rs 70,000. Here’s a look at its revised price list: –

- Prices of all the petrol and 4×2 diesel variants have gone up by Rs 44,000. On the other hand, all the 4×4 diesel variants and Fortuner Legender have witnessed a price hike of Rs 70,000.
- With this, the Toyota Fortuner now ranges from Rs 33.43 lakh to Rs 51.44 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the Fortuner Legender costs between Rs 43.66 lakh to Rs 47.64 lakh (ex-showroom).
Engine Options
Toyota offers the Fortuner with a 2.7-litre petrol (166PS/245Nm) and a 2.8-litre turbocharged diesel engine (204PS/500Nm). While the gasoline mill comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, the oil burner gets a 6-speed manual unit. However, the optional 6-speed torque converter automatic unit is offered with both engine options.
