Top 5 Upcoming Tata Cars In 2022: Nexon EV Facelift, Nexon CNG, Altroz EV and More

The past few years have been an absolute bang for Tata motors. With record sales and multiple successful products like Safari, Punch, and Tigor EV, and the very recent Altroz with DCT automatic transmission, Tata Motors seems to be unstoppable. Keeping the momentum going, here are the top 5 upcoming Tata cars that are expected to be launched in India in the coming months of 2022: –

Tata Nexon Facelift

The Tata Nexon EV is all set to receive a facelift update in the coming weeks. Currently, India’s highest-selling EV gives you the peace of mind of conserving the environment whilst keeping your wallet intact. However, the driving range is the biggest setback of the electrified SUV. Tata is out to solve this by introducing a long-range version with the Nexon EV facelift that will get a larger 40KWh battery pack over the existing 30.2KWh battery. It is expected to be launched in Q2 of 2022.

Tata Nexon CNG

Tata Motors has started testing the CNG version of the Nexon in India. It is expected to be offered with the existing 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine of the sub-4m SUV that generates 120PS and 170Nm. However, the power figures will certainly take a hit in the CNG model.

Tata Altroz EV

Upcoming tata Cars in India in 2022

The Altroz EV was initially unveiled at the 2020 Auto Expo 2020. After COVID waves and multiple delays, the latest addition to Tata’s EV lineup is set to launch in the second half of 2022. Built on Tata’s ALFA platform, Altroz is already a very promising product in its petrol and diesel avatar, so its EV debut should also prove to be a considerable purchase, especially to those looking for an EV hatchback.

Tata Harrier and Safari Petrol

Tata Safari Petrol

Safari and Harrier are Tata’s flagship SUV products. Soon they will receive the in-house developed 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 160PS of max power and 250Nm of peak torque. It is likely to be paired with both manual and automatic transmission options and launch is expected towards late 2022.
