Top 3 Sub-4m SUVs / CUVs Coming In 2023

We’ve seen many exciting launches in 2022 and the year 2023 will also be very thrilling and lively, with full of interesting products coming to our shores. In this story, we will discuss about the top three upcoming sub-4m SUVs and crossovers that are likely to be launched in 2023.

Maruti Baleno / Toyota Glanza Crossover (YTB)

Already reported multiple times earlier, Maruti Suzuki is working on a crossover version of the Baleno that is expected to be showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo. Likely to be underpinned on the same HEARTECT platform as the Baleno, the upcoming crossover will feature rugged, SUV like traits, such as upright profile, bigger ground clearance, muscular silhouette and body cladding. It is also expected to get Suzuki’s 1.0-litre boosterjet turbo-petrol engine, along with the brand’s 1.2-litre dual-jet unit. Click here for more details.

Tata Punch EV

Tata Motors is expected to unveil the electric iteration of the Punch EV at the 2023 Auto Expo. The electrified micro-SUV is expected to be powered by the same Ziptron powertrain as other Tata EVs. The brand could offer it with two battery pack options, with an expected range of over 300 kilometers on a single charge.

Upcoming Hyundai cars / SUVs in 2023

Codenamed Ai3, Hyundai Motors is reportedly working on a new sub-4m/compact crossover that is likely to be launched by the end of 2023. However, the carmaker is likely to unveil its prototype or concept version at the upcoming Auto Expo. While details about the upcoming Hyundai offering is yet to be revealed, it is likely to get the same 1.2-litre NA petrol and 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engines from the Grand i10 Nios.
