The all new Octavia RS 245 Specs and Price

While Sedan's are losing their buyers day by day there is an executive class of sedan in India which is just not ready to die. Octavia has been an all-time favourite for people who want a 3-box configuration car with as much fun as possible. The Czech automobile manufacturer has now launched the Skoda Octavia RS 245 in India. However, only 200 units of this performance version will come in our shore The booking have been started with a token amount of Rs. 1 lakh.

Skoda Octavia RS 245: Specifications & Features

The D-segment Skoda Octavia has always been a hot beast and the king of the segment, be it features or its looks or its handling or its impressive power figures. Below are some the features of RS 245:-

  1. It is powered by a 2.0 litre, four cylinders, turbocharged TSI petrol engine mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. As the name suggests, it produces 245 PS of max power and 370 Nm of max torque. It can do 0-100 in just 6.6 seconds and a top speed of 250 kmph which has been limited by the company electronically.
  2. If compared to the standard Octavia, the RS 245 enjoys rich premium features like 18 inches two-tone Vega alloy wheels, Quadra headlights with LED DRLs, glossy black spoiler and a lot of RS badges present all over the car.
  3. It also carries rich feel features like a 20.32 cm touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay & Android Auto, 12-way electrically adjustable front seats, Alcantara black leather sports seats and a dual-zone climate system. It also has a wider rear track which helps the car in handling performance.
  4. It also gets red stitching on the seats and a lot of components in contrast to the black seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster.

Price

The Skoda Octavia RS 245 has been brought to our market via CBU route which makes it so expensive. It carries a hefty price tag of Rs. 35.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). It is offered in a variety of colours namely- Rallye Green, Candy White, Race Blue, Corrida Red and Magic Black.
