The AMT variants of Tata Tiago and Tigor CNG retain the ongoing 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that benefits from the brand’s signature twin CNG cylinder technology that ensures you get ample boot space for your travel needs. What’s more impressive is that it can start directly in CNG mode and includes a safety feature that shuts off the ignition when the fuel lid is opened.

Speaking of the engine performance, it develops 86PS/113Nm in petrol mode and a lower output of 73.5PS/95Nm when fed with compressed natural gas. It is claimed to offer a mileage of 28.06 km/kg.

Earlier, this CNG mill was only offered with a 5-speed manual transmission.
