Tata Sierra EV Spied Undisguised Ahead of Unveil In 2025

The highly anticipated Tata Sierra EV will soon be revealed in production guise at the Bharat Mobility Expo in January 2025. But ahead of its debut, the test mule was snapped without any camouflage.

Tata Sierra EV – A Closer Look At Spy Images

Tata Sierra EV Launch date

The undisguised test mule of the upcoming Tata Sierra EV sported a pearl white paint scheme, with plenty of chrome and piano black elements on the grille, bumper and body cladding. In profile, it stays true to the Sierra’s iconic design, retaining the wraparound glass effect on either side of the cabin. However, unlike the old-gen Sierra which was a 3-door model, the modern electrified Sierra will be offered in a 5-door layout. Nevertheless, the brand has offered it with flush-fitting door handles for a cleaner design.

Other notable highlights include an upright bonnet, connected LED DRLs, a split headlamp setup, squared-off wheel arches and a blacked-out bumper with a silver skid plate. It was spied sporting dual-tone alloy wheels. We expect it to be underpinned on Tata’s latest Acti.ev platform, which also underpins the Curvv.ev.

While the cabin of the upcoming SUV is yet to be seen, we anticipate it will retain a lot of similarities with the Tata Safari. Expect it to get features like a panoramic glass roof, dual-zone AC, larger touchscreen infotainment with connected car tech, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, digital driver’s display, power front seats with ventilation function, memory function for front seats, wireless charger, JBL sound system, a 360-degree camera, and level-2 ADAS functionality.

Tata Sierra EV – Expected Powertrain

While the powertrain details are still under wraps, it is expected to be offered with both single and dual-motor setups, with over 500 km range on a full charge.

Tata will also introduce an ICE version of the Sierra.
