Tata Nexon Silently Recalled Over Suspension Issue

Tata Motors is believed to have initiated a silent recall for the Nexon sub-4m SUV over a faulty suspension component. Thanks to one of our gaadify readers who shared this information with us, the automaker has started contacting the owners of a specific batch of the Nexon, asking them to bring their vehicle to update the anti-roll bar link without any charge.

Since Tata Motors hasn't made any formal announcement regarding the same, we don't know the exact numbers of the affected units.

Tata Nexon recall

Our reader has also informed us that there was a severe noise problem with his Nexon's suspension setup since he purchased the SUV in March 2021. However, the issue wasn't regular, and the noise only used to come when the vehicle was driven through rough patches or deep potholes/depressions. He had complained about it during servicing too, but the service center did not pay heed to it at that time. And finally, he got a call yesterday for the updation of the anti-roll bar.

Tata Nexon is widely known for its attractive looks and comfortable ride quality. However, not reporting the recall publicly could be because of the possible threat of the brand defaming.

In the other news, Tata Motors has recently launched the Punch micro-SUV in the Indian market at an introductory price range of Rs 5.49 lakh to 9.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Deliveries of the pre-booked units have already begun across the nation without any waiting period.
