Tata Nexon CNG Now Available In Dark Edition From Rs 12.70 Lakh

The Nexon CNG is the latest car in Tata Motors’ lineup to join the all-black bandwagon. Offered in Creative Plus and Fearless Plus variants, the Nexon CNG Dark Edition gets an all-black theme inside and out for a stealthier appearance.

Tata Nexon CNG Dark Edition – What’s On Offer?

As seen in the above table, the Nexon CNG Dark Edition variants command a premium of up to Rs 40,000 over their regular counterparts. For this added premium, the Dark Edition trim gets some visual enhancements like an all-black exterior theme and a blacked-out finish for the 16-inch alloys, skid plates, and Tata logo. There’s also the ‘DARK” emblem on the fender for its distinct identification.

The all-black theme continues inside the cabin as well, complemented by black leather upholstery with #DARK embossing on the front headrests and a tri-arrow pattern with blue accents.

Regarding features, the top-spec variant of the Nexon CNG Dark Edition gets amenities like a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, wireless mobile charger, auto AC, rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, six airbags, 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

Engine and Fuel Efficiency

Powering the Nexon is a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 100 PS and 170Nm of peak output when fed with CNG. It comes paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and claims a fuel efficiency of 24 km/kg.

Competition Check

In the sub-4m SUV segment, the Nexon CNG rivals the likes of the Maruti Brezza CNG.
