Tata Reveal Launch Schedule For Curvv EV, Harrier EV, Sierra EV and Avinya Series

Tata Motors has revealed the launch timeline for its forthcoming electric vehicles (EVs), including Curvv EV, Harrier EV, Sierra EV, and Avinya series. The carmaker will launch the Curvv EV in this financial year, followed by the Harrier EV and Sierra EV. On the other hand, the Tata Avinya series will make its market debut in FY26.

The Curvv, Harrier and Sierra EV will be based on Tata’s latest activ.ev architecture, whereas the Avinya range of models will be based on JLR’s modular EMA architecture. Avinya is expected to operate as a sub-brand under Tata Motors.

Upcoming Tata EVs

Currently, Tata Motors has five EVs in its portfolio – Tiago EV, Tigor EV, Xpres-T, Punch EV and Nexon EV. With these new models set to be introduced in the near future, Tata plans to expand its EV-exclusive showrooms from the current two to fifty in the next few years.

The company also has plans to boost its public charging infrastructure from the current 10,000 in FY24 to over 1 lakh by FY30. Furthermore, the community charging points are expected to grow from 4300 to over 1 lakh. This extensive expansion will provide EV owners with convenient access to charging facilities, addressing range anxiety and promoting the widespread adoption of EVs.
