Its Confirmed! Tata Altroz Racer Launching In June 2024

The sportier version of the Tata Altroz, the Altroz Racer, will be launched in June 2024. It was first unveiled at the 2023 Auto Expo and later showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo in 2024. Upon its launch, the Altroz Racer, with its sportier design and upgraded turbo-petrol engine, will directly challenge the Hyundai i20 N Line.

Dynamic Sporty Upgrades

While the design of the new Tata Altroz Racer will not undergo any design changes, it will indeed feature some new styling elements to enhance its sporty appearance. Having said that, the hot hatch will feature a sportier dual-tone paint scheme and twin racing strips running from the hood to the end of the roof, providing it the sense of a racing car. Furthermore, it will also flaunt a “Racer” badging on the front fender, a slightly modified radiator grille and newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels finished in black.

Inside, it is anticipated to flaunt an all-black theme with a vibrant orange hue on the dashboard, door trims and leather upholstery. It will also boast themed ambient lighting throughout the dashboard, a wireless charging dock, and illuminated footwells. Additionally, the seats and steering wheel will feature contrast stitching for a sporty touch.

Regarding features, the new Altroz Racer will have a few additional equipment over the regular model. These will include a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a heads-up display, a voice-assisted sunroof, a new digital driver’s display, the segment’s first ventilated front seats, six airbags and a 360-degree camera.
