2021 Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Facelift – New Changes

1. Exterior Design

The changes on the 7-seater Tiguan Allspace are somewhat in line with the 5-seater Tiguan, which was updated last year. It gets a refreshed front facia comprising a wide grille with illuminated strips, a more swept-back IQ. LIGHT LED headlamps (incorporating 24 individual LED diodes), and an aggressively styled bumper with a redesigned air dam and a heavy black applique. The LED turn signals now also get the ''sweeping'' indicating function.

The side profile of the SUV is pretty much the same as the pre-facelift model save for the newly designed alloy wheels that range from 17 to 20 inches, depending on the variant.

Changes on the backside are also insignificant. The brand has updated the LED elements in the tail lamp cluster along with the introduction of a refreshed rear bumper that now features more chrome garnishing and a new design for exhaust vents. There's also the ‘TIGUAN’ lettering at the center of the tailgate. Besides, Volkswagen has also introduced two new colors for the facelifted Tiguan Allspace – Oryx White and Kings Red Metallic.

Due to all these aforementioned changes, the length of the new Tiguan Allspace has now grown by 22mm, measuring at 4,723mm. However, this added length won't result in added cabin space.

2. Interior Design & Features

Inside, the 2021 Tiguan Allspace gets a new-generation MIB3 infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. It also features an integrated eSIM with We Connect technology, natural voice control, access to streaming services, cloud-based personalization, in-car Wi-Fi capability, and much more.
