Suzuki eVX Electric Concept Breaks Cover

Alongside the fourth-gen Swift concept, Suzuki has also revealed a more evolved version of the eVX electric SUV at the ongoing Tokyo Motor Show 2023. For those who aren’t aware, it was first unveiled at the 2023 Auto Expo.

Let’s start with the interior, which is being revealed for the first time: –

  • The Suzuki eVX boasts a minimalist dashboard layout featuring four vertical slats that mimic the vertically oriented AC vents. There’s also a dual-integrated display system for the infotainment and instrument cluster.
  • The EV also features a yoke-styled steering wheel and a rotary dial in the centre console, potentially for gear selection.

  • Speaking of the exterior, the eVX features a closed-off grille up front, a robust bumper, and a triangular lighting setup upfront that comprises LED headlights and daytime running lamps (DRLs).
  • On the sides, it features robust wheel arches housing large wheels and a streamlined silhouette with seamlessly integrated door handles (flush-type). Completing its overall futuristic design are the sleek, connected LED taillights with 3-piece lighting elements and a chunky skid plate.

Suzuki eVX Electric SUV Concept – Technical Specifications

Suzuki is yet to share the technical specifications of the upcoming electric SUV. However, it is likely to come with a 60kWh battery pack and a dual-motor setup, offering it all-wheel-drive capabilities. It is likely to get an advanced regenerative energy system.

Expected India Launch

The Suzuki eVX is likely to be launched in India sometime by 2025, with prices expected to start at around Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom).
