Skoda VISION IN Concept To Launch As Kushaq; Will Rival Hyundai Creta And Kia Seltos

German automaker Skoda has finalized the name 'Kushaq' for its upcoming VISION IN-based concept SUV. It will be Skoda's first product under VW Group's 'India 2.0' business plan.

The Skoda Kushaq will be based on the Skoda-Volkswagen’s MQB AO-IN modular platform, which has been especially localized for the Indian market. It's production version is expected to carry forward the maximum design elements from its concept model such as butterfly grille, high-set fog lamps, skid plates, flared wheel arches, roof rails, LED taillamps, and sculpted tailgate, etc. In terms of dimensions, the Skoda Kushak will have a length of about 4.25 meters, while the wheelbase will be 2,671 mm (segment-largest).
