Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo Edition Gets New Colour Options

Skoda has introduced new colour options for the Monte Carlo Edition of the Slavia sedan. It is now available with Shimla Green and Steel Grey colours. However, these new shades are limited to just 200 units, and are exclusive for the automatic units. These new colours will be offered alongside the existing hues, which comprises Candy White, Brilliant Silver, and Cherry Red.

*All of the above colours are available in a dual-tone theme with a blacked-out finish for roof and ORVMs. 

Despite these exclusive new colours, prices for the Slavia Monte Carlo Edition remain unchanged, ranging from Rs 16.69 lakh to Rs 18.19 lakh (ex-showroom).

About Skoda Slavis Monte Carlo Edition

For those unaware, the Monte Carlo Editin is based on the Skoda Slavia’s top-end Prestige variant, featuring several visual upgrades for added appeal. These include blacked-out design elements for the exterior like a blacked-out grille, black fog lamp garnish, a small black front lip, and blacked-out 16-inch alloy wheels with red brake callipers.

It also boasts black side skirting, black side mirror housings, dark chrome accents for the door handles, black lettering for the SKODA badge, smoke finish for tail lamps, a tiny black trunk spoiler, and black bumper garnish, to further elevate the sporty quotient of the sedan.

Inside, it features an all-black dashboard with red accents, along with aluminum pedals and red stitching around the cabin adding to the sporty feel of the sedan.

Engine Options

The Slavia Monte Carlo is available with two turbocharged petrol engines: a 1-litre turbo-petrol (115PS/178Nm) and a more potent 1.5-litre turbo-petrol (150PS/250Nm). While the former can be had with both 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed torque converter, the latter is available only with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
