Skoda Kodiaq RS Bookings Open; Just 50 Units Up For Grabs

Skoda India has commenced bookings for the performance-focused Kodiaq RS SUV in India for a token amount of Rs 3 lakh, but there’s a catch. Only 50 units have been alloted for the Indian market. So, if you’re planning to buy one, act quickly to secure one of the most powerful & feature-loaded Skoda offering.

Why Is There So Much Hype Around Kodiaq RS?

The hype around the Kodiaq RS is largely due to the fact that there are very few performance-oriented 7-seater SUV out in the market, making it something exclusive and an exciting option to grab. That said, it packs a punchy turbo-petrol engine, sportier design elements like a new 20-inch, 5-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels, blacked out grille, more aggressive bumpers, blacked-out side mirrors, wheel arch cladding, & roof rails, and sport dual exhausts.

Inside, it features an all-black interior with red pin striping and stitchings, RS-branded steering and sporty bucket seats, giving it a sporty vibe.

What’s Underneath The Hood?

Powering the Kodiaq RS will be a 2-litre, turbocharged petrol engine, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) and all-wheel drive system. It churns out 265PS of whopping power and 400Nm of peak torque, enabling the SUV to complete the 0 to 100 km/h run in just 6.3 seconds before hitting a top speed of 231 km/h.
