Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition To Get Panoramic Sunroof And Digital Driver Display

Since the launch of Skoda Kushaq, there have been rumours about its top-of-the-line Monte Karlo edition. Now reports are suggesting that it could be equipped with a panoramic sunroof, roof liner, and digital driver's display, which are currently the major missings of the SUV. Besides, it is also likely to get some cosmetical additions over the ongoing top-spec Style trim. The brand is expected to launch it soon.

As of now, the Kushaq is available in three trims – Active, Ambition, and Style, which are priced between Rs 10.79 lakh to Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The soon-to-be-launched Monte Carlo trim is expected to command a significant premium over the ongoing Style variant.

No mechanical changes are expected with the Kushaq Monte Carlo edition. The SUV comes with a 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder TSI petrol engine that produces 115PS and 178Nm and a 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder TSI petrol that churns out 150PS and 250Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual (standard) and an optional 6-speed torque converter automatic and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

In the other news, Skoda is gearing up to launch the Slavia mid-size sedan in the first quarter of 2022. Its bookings are already underway for a token amount of Rs 11,000. Click here to know more about its variant, colour options, delivery timeline, and other details.
