Skoda Celebrates 25 Years In India With 5 Lakh Sales Milestone

  • Sold 5,491 units in November 2025
  • Skoda Auto has already registered its highest-ever sales in the first ten months of 2025.

Skoda Auto India continues its growth surge in India, crossing a landmark 5 lakh units sold since its entry in India. In its silver jubilee, the brand has already crossed several monthly, quarterly and annual milestones. And in the penultimate month of 2025, the brand sold 5,491 units in the country, recording a 90% Y-o-Y growth over the same month last year.

Commenting on the growth, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said, “Our expanding network, our value-driven ownership offerings, and wide product portfolio have been the chief driving forces that have powered our 5 lakh landmark sales and our constant year-on-year sales growth every month. We shall maintain the momentum with our products and by getting closer to our customers and our fans.”

The Sedan legacy

Skoda Auto established itself in India with a strong sedan legacy. With a 130-year global heritage and a 25-year history in India, the Octavia has been a strong legacy for the brand. Among the many milestones the brand achieved in its 25th anniversary is the return of the Octavia RS, making it one of India’s oldest nameplates. Every Octavia unit allocated to India was sold out in 20 minutes since the opening of bookings. And with the Slavia sedan in 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI forms, Skoda continues its sedan legacy in India.

Apart from the Slavia and Octavia RS, the brand also has three SUVs in its India lineup: Kylaq, Kushaq and Kodiaq. Soon, the Kushaq will receive a mid-life facelift update.
