Five Upcoming Hyundai Cars Worth Waiting For In 2022

We’re 3 months into 2022 and the automotive industry is getting back its usual buzz, with a lot of brands unveiling/releasing their Q1 scheduled vehicle lineup. One such brand is Hyundai, which has already unveiled the India-bound new Creta at the Thailand Motor Show. Here’s take a look at all the upcoming cars from Hyundai that are expected to head our way in 2022: –

Hyundai Venue Facelift

The Hyundai Venue saw its debut in 2019 and to this day, it is still one of the top picks of the C-SUV lineup for some people. Three years later, Hyundai has finally decided to give the Venue its much-needed upgrade. Although not a complete generation change, the Venue will receive a proper facelift to make it 2022 ready. With a refreshed front fascia, newer alloys, revised tail-lamps on the exterior and a new 10.25-inch infotainment system, renewed tech onboard, and possible ventilated seats as notable changes to the interior. Additional safety features and the addition of N-Line variants to the facelifted Venue are also expected.

Hyundai Tucson Facelifted

Hyundai’s flagship SUV, the Tucson, in its current state feels extremely lackluster and doesn’t bring the competition much. Lucky for us, the new facelifted Tucson is set the bring the heat with Hyundai’s new “Sensuous Sportiness” design language. With updated design and ADAS tech onboard, the new Tucson is set to give its rivals (Jeep Compass, Volkswagen Tiguan, Citroen C5) a run for their money! It is expected to be launched in the coming months.

Hyundai Creta Facelift

2022 Hyundai Creta facelift launch date

With already been unveiled at the Thailand motor show, the upcoming model will be the fourth iteration of the Creta lineup. Building over its second generation model, the facelifted Hyundau Creta witnesses changes to the front grille being completely revised and now teaming up with the LED daytime running lamps. On the features front, the facelifted Creta is set to receive ADAS functionality, the same digital MID seen in the Alcazar, and ambient lighting all around the interior silhouette.

Hyundai Kona Electric Facelift

Hyundai Kona Electric is all set to receive a facelift update by mid-2022, with notable changes including a renewed fascia, a bigger battery pack offering greater range, and changes to the interior like a new 10.25-inch infotainment system and digital drivers display.

New Generation Hyundai Elantra

Upcoming Hyundai Cars in India

The new generation Elantra has already been unveiled for the American market. Boasting what Hyundai calls a new “Sensuous Sportiness” design language, the Elantra gets a new parametric-jewel-pattern grille with integrated LED headlamps. With much more defined curves and cuts, the Elantra definitely poses a meaner and more aerodynamic profile. Changes inside the cabin comprise a new dual 10.25-inch infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, refined tech, and richer ambient lighting. Internationally, the Elantra also comes with hybrid technology, which we can also expect to hit our shores as well!
