Six Airbags Now Standard In All Hyundai Cars

Amidst heightened focus on safety and the forthcoming Bharat NCAP testing program, Hyundai has upgraded its entire product lineup, making six airbags (dual-front, side and curtain airbags) standard. With this, it has become the first mass-market automaker in India to do so.

Most of the Hyundai cars, including the budget-friendly Exter SUV and the recently launched i20 Facelift, were already available with standard six airbags. The only exceptions were the Grand i10 Nios, Venue, Venue N Line and Aura. Now, all of these models also get 6 airbags as standard.

Features like tyre pressure monitoring systems, hill hold assist, ESC, ISOFIX anchors, dual dashcam and ADAS are limited to some specific variants and models.
