After the Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin, the bikemaker is expected to launch the Bullet with the same 650cc engine option. This expectation is backed by a recently filed trademark for the name “Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Twin”. In fact, the bike has also been spotted testing multiple times.
The status of the trademark has been listed as “Formalities Chk Pass”, which means the registrar’s office has authenticated the trademark application documents.
Confirmed by the spy shots, the Bullet 650 Twin will retain the same design as its 350cc counterpart, featuring a round headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank with hand-painted pinstripes, boxy rear fenders, a round tubular grabrail for the pillion, and an upright riding position because of the mid-rise handlebar and mid-set footpegs.
We expect the Bullet 650 to use the same frame and underpinnings as the Classic 650. It will be powered by Royal Enfield’s tried and tested 648cc twin-cylinder engine that makes 47PS and 52.3Nm. The bike will also get dual upswept pea-shooter exhausts with a chrome finish and new paint scheme for added appeal and refreshment.

Royal Enfield is yet to confirm its launch timeline, but we expect it to be launched around the festive season. Regarding pricing, expect the Bullet 650 to command a premium of around Rs 1.5 lakh over its 350cc counterpart. For reference, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is priced between Rs 1.95 – 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom).
