Royal Enfield 650 Twins 120-Year Edition Prices Announced

A few days ago, Royal Enfield unveiled the special edition of the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 at the EICMA 2021 show in Milan, Italy. Now, the bikemaker has announced their prices which are as follows: –

As the above table indicates, both of these 120-year edition models command a significant price premium over their corresponding standard top-spec trim. For reference, the standard variants of Interceptor 650 cost between Rs 3.26 lakh to Rs 3.50 lakh (on-road Chennai), whereas the Continental GT 650 will set you back by up to Rs 3.68 lakh (on-road Chennai). 

Interested customers eyeing these limited-edition models will have to register themselves on Royal Enfield's official website, after which they shall receive a unique code that will act as a ticket for the online sale, starting from today at 7 PM till stocks last. For those who aren't aware, only 480 units of these bikes will be made across the globe, distributed as 120 units each for India, Europe, America, and South-East Asia, comprising 60 units of each model for each region. 

Royal Enfield Interceptor and Continental GT 650 120th Year Anniversary Edition – What's Special?

Both the special editions have received a host of aesthetical and accessory upgrades along with an extended warranty package. The cosmetic additions include a special black-chrome color paint scheme with hand-painted gold pinstripes and handcrafted die-cast brass badges on either side of the fuel tank and 120 years emblem with a unique serial number of each motorcycle. They also get matt black finishing on the engine, silencer, and other elements of the motorcycles. 

Royal Enfield has equipped these limited-run editions with some genuine accessories worth up to Rs 19,500. These comprise brown seats with premium stitching, brown handlebar grips, flyscreens, aluminium sump guard, heel guards, engine guard, touring mirrors (bar-end mirrors for the Continental GT 650), and handlebar brace pad for the Interceptor 650. 

Last but not the least, the bikemaker has also offered these bikes with 3+2 years warranty package worth Rs 4,700.

Mechanically, both the bikes have remained unchanged. That said, they continue to be powered by the same 649cc, parallel-twin engine as their standard counterpart, which delivers 47PS at 7,150 rpm and 52Nm of peak torque at 5,250 rpm. Suspension, brakes, and other parts & features have been retained from the standard model as well.
