The 7-seater version of the Dacia (Renault) Duster, called the Bigster, has officially made its global debut. This extended model of the new-generation Duster is anticipated to arrive in India in 2025, alongside the standard five-seater version.
Renault Bigster Design
In terms of design, the Bigster shares many features with the two-row Duster SUV. It includes Y-shaped LED DRLs and taillights, prominent wheel arches, body cladding, updated front and rear bumpers, functional roof rails, and rear door handles integrated into the C-pillar.

Inside, the Bigster’s cabin closely resembles that of the Duster, with a refreshed dashboard, new centre console, and updated seat upholstery. It comes packed with features such as a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, automatic climate control, and a panoramic sunroof.

Renault Bigster Powertrain Options
Globally, the Dacia Bigster offers three powertrain options: 1-litre petrol-LPG, 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol with 48V mild-hybrid system and 1.6-litre 4-cylinder petrol with a self-charging strong-hybrid system. For India, the Duster and Bigster will likely feature two engines: a 1.6-litre petrol-hybrid and a 1.2-litre petrol engine. Additionally, it may also offer AWD technology.
