Ola To Unveil Electric Car On August 15

Ola Electric is all set to foray into the 4-wheeler EV space on August 15. The brand will unveil its first electric car tomorrow. While official details about the upcoming product are yet to be revealed, reports are suggesting that it will be a long-range EV that could deliver over 500km of range on a single charge. The product is likely to be launched sometime in 2023.

Going by the latest teaser, the upcoming Ola electric car could be a coupe or a sedan, with the front design will be dominated by sportier-looking aerodynamically shaped bumper and fenders. It will also get connecting LED lighting setup both at the front & rear.

Ola’s first electric car is also rumored to be equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), which the automaker previewed earlier on a golf cart test vehicle. Also in order to make its EVs affordable and accessible to the masses, the company is already working on a high level of localization. By 2023, it plans to mass manufacture its recently debuted NMC 2170 Li-ion cell and those battery packs will power its lineup later on.

Aside from its first electric car, Ola Electric could also uncover its new & more affordable electric scooter and new battery research & manufacturing plant. Stay tuned to GAADIFY for more details.
