Ola Electric is rumored to launch a more affordable version of the S1 electric scooter this Diwali. Reports suggest that it will be priced below Rs 80,000, thus undercutting the highly-popular Honda Activa 6G and TVS Jupiter 110.
The upcoming Ola scooter is likely to be based on the MoveOS platform. It will retain features like an LED lighting system, a touchscreen rider’s display with Bluetooth connectivity, and OTA support. However, features like performance-oriented Sports and Hyper riding modes, cruise control, and music system could be dropped. It could also get a smaller battery pack with a range of around 100 kilometers on a single charge.
