– The purchase process of the Ola scooters is completely digital. That said, Ola Electric does not have any physical showroom across the country.

– Interested buyers can head to Ola Electric’s official website to book their electric scooter. The purchase window will remain open till stocks last. Ola has said that priority will be given to deliveries on a first-come-first-served basis.

– Buyers who have pre-booked the Ola scooter earlier will now get another chance to choose the variant and the color scheme, in case someone has changed their mind about their choice.

– The next step will be of payment, where customers will also be provided with the facility of online finance. For this, Ola's financial branch, Ola Financial Services (OFS), has tied up with IDFC First Bank, HDFC, and TATA Capital. All you require is your government documents to process and verify the loan application.

– The EMI plans for Ola S1 will start from as low as Rs 2,999 and Rs 3,199 for the S1 Pro.

– Buyers who are not interested in financing their vehicle can proceed further by paying an advance of Rs 20,000 for the S1 and Rs 25,000 for the S1 Pro. The remaining amount will have to be paid a few days before the scooter is delivered to the customers. Also, it is worth noting that the advance payment is fully refundable if there’s a cancellation before the scooter is shipped from Ola’s factory.

– Customers booking the electric scooter will be given a tentative delivery timeline.

– If you are waiting for the test rides of the scooters, you have to wait for another month as it will commence from October.

– It is also important to note that the procurement process will start in batches, and priority will be given to those who pre-booked it at the earliest. Ola will notify you in advance about the payment date, and if you miss the payment, the e-scooter assigned to you will pass on to someone else, and you will be given a revised delivery timeline.

– Like any other e-commerce website, Ola will deliver the scooter to your given address.

– Ola has also announced that both of these scooters will come with a 3-year/ 40,000km warranty (whichever comes earlier), while their battery pack will get a 3-years/ unlimited-kilometer warranty for complete peace of mind.

– As far as the insurance is concerned, the brand has partnered with ICICI Lombard for the same. While the standard compulsory policy for the Ola Scooters will include 1-year own damage and a 5-year third party cover, buyers can also opt for a Personal Accident Cover, Zero Depreciation, and Roadside Assistance at an additional charge.

– Since the e-scooters come with fewer moving parts, there is no requirement for routine servicing. Both these scooters will come with a brake pad wear sensor that will notify you in advance if the pads need replacement. Customers can book their appointment through the Ola Electric app for doorstep servicing.

– The Ola S1 and S1 Pro are priced at Rs 99,999 and Rs 1,29,999 (after FAME II incentive). However, certain states like Gujrat, Maharashtra, Gujrat, etc offer some additional benefits and subsidies that can be claimed after the purchase.
