  • Test drives of Citroen eC3 commenced across the country.
  • Bookings are already underway.

Citroen India revealed the eC3 electric hatchback last month and started its bookings for a token amount of Rs 25,000. One month on, the carmaker has now finally begun offering test drives at its dealerships across India. Its prices, however, are still under wraps.

Citroen offers the eC3 electric hatch in two variants: Live and Feel, both get a 29.2 kWh air-cooled battery pack linked to the front-axle mounted 57PS/143Nm electric motor that enables it to sprint from 0 to 60 kmph in just 6.8 seconds and offers a top speed of 107 kmph. It gets two driving modes – ECO and STANDARD, and claims an ARAI-certified range of 320km. The EV also benefits from regenerative braking technology.
