NIssan Magnite Kuro Edition
Nissan India has just showcased two new versions of the Magnite SUV: the Magnite Kuro Edition and the Magnite EZ-Shift. The latter is essentially the AMT variant of the Magnite, offered with 1-litre naturally aspirated engine. Both are expected to go on sale in the coming days.

Until now, the Magnite was offered with two transmission options: 5-speed manual and CVT automatic. While the manual gearbox option was standard, the CVT transmission was limited to the 1-litre turbocharged petrol engine. But now, Nissan has offered the 5-speed Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) option for the 1-litre naturally aspirated engine.

The AMT option will be offered with Magnite’s entire variant lineup, comprising XE, XL, XV and XV Premium.
Pricing for the Magnite AMT is yet to be revealed; however, it is expected to command a premium of roughly Rs 55,000 over their manual counterparts.

In the sub-4m SUV segment, the Nissan Magnite competes with the Renault Kiger, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Fronx, Mahindra XUV300, Kia Sonet, and Hyundai Venue.
