Nissan Magnite To Get A Price Hike Soon

Nissan India has announced a price increase for the Magnite SUV of up to 3%, effective next month. The quantum of the price hike will vary depending on the variant. Currently, the sub-4m SUV is priced from Rs 5.62 lakh to Rs 10.76 lakh (ex-showroom).

Nissan Magnite At A Glance

The Nissan Magnite is the most affordable sub-4m SUV in its class that comes with two petrol engine options: a 72hp 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 100hp 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, each available with both manual and automatic gearbox options (AMT for N.A. and CVT for turbocharged unit). Its manual variants can also be had with a CNG kit.

Regarding features, the SUV comes decently loaded, with key amenities including automatic LED headlamps, boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, 16-inch alloy wheels, soft-touch leather padding on the dash & door pads, ambient lighting, leatherette upholstery, 7-inch digital cluster, auto-dimming IRVM, remote start function, push button start/stop, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto AC, rear AC vents, cruise control, and much more.

For passengers’ safety, the SUV comes kitted with six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, 3-point seatbelts, seatbelt reminders for all, and rear parking sensors along with a camera.

In the Indian market, the Magnite faces competition from the Hyundai Venue, Renault Kiger, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza and Mahindra XUV 3XO.

Three New Nissan Models Incoming

Nissan India has confirmed three new launches for India in 2026. These include –

  • Gravite – a sub-4m MPV based on Renault Triber. It will make its global debut in January, with launch slated for March 2026.
  • Tekton – a Creta-rivalling mid-size SUV that will share its platform with the new-gen Renault Duster. It will be launched in February 2026.
  • A Tekton-based 7-seater SUV, which is expected to be unveiled in late 2026.
