Nissan Magnite Received Over 72,000 Bookings; 30,000 Units Delivered So Far

Nissan Magnite, a truly surviving sub-4m SUV for the Japanese automaker, has racked up over 72,000 bookings since its launch in December 2020, out of which Nissan has delivered 30,000 units so far. Guillaume Cartier, Nissan AMIEO Chairperson, for Africa, Middle East, India, Europe, and Oceania region has handed over the keys of the 30,000th Nissan Magnite to the customer in a ceremony at a dealership in Gurgaon. He also presented Nissan Global President’s Award to the Nissan India team for the launch of Magnite.

Nissan Magnite Delivery

Commenting on the occasion, Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said

Launch of the all-new Nissan Magnite has proven itself to be a game-changer, redefining value in the SUV segment. Multiple awards from media and now this very special recognition of the Global Nissan President Award is a proud moment for the Nissan India family. We thank the teams for their innovation, efforts and dedicate this award to the Customers for their love for Nissan Magnite making it a Big Bold Beautiful success. Cumulative bookings stand at over 72,000, a testament to the car’s popularity amongst the discerning Indian customer.

For those who aren't aware, India was the first country to get the Nissan Magnite under its NEXT transformation plan. And its success must be attributed to its attractive design, low maintenance, and competitive pricing (currently priced between Rs 5.71 lakh and Rs 10.15 lakh), which undercuts most of its rivals. It is offered in five broad trims: XE, XL, XV, XV Premium, and XV Premium (O). The automaker will soon introduce a new XV Executive variant of the SUV that will be positioned between the mid-spec XL and XV trims.

In other updates, Nissan has recently introduced a new Tourmaline Brown-&-Onyx Black dual-tone color option in Magnite's color list, replacing the Flare Garnet Red & Onyx Black shade.
