Despite the price hike, the Nissan Magnite is still the most affordable sub-compact SUV in its segment. And thanks to its aggressive pricing, it has received an overwhelming response from the buyers. It has received over 32,800 bookings and 1.80 lakh inquiries since launch. As a result, the Magnite is commanding a huge waiting period of up to 8 months in major cities. However, to overcome the long waiting times, Nissan will be adding a third shift at its Aurangabad manufacturing facility. For this, Nissan will hire over 1000 workers at its plant along with 500 new executives to strengthen its existing customer touchpoints and dealerships.
