Nissan Gravite Launch Date Announced

Nissan India has finally announced the launch date of the Gravite sub-4m MPV. It will go on sale on February 17, 2026. Earlier, it was supposed to be revealed on January 21.

For those unaware, the Nissan Gravite will be essentially a rebadged version of the Renault Triber with a different design both inside and outside to set it apart from its donor model. However, it will share its silhouette and proportions with the Triber.

Nissan Gravite – What To Expect?

Going by the official teasers, the Gravite will boast a honeycomb-pattern for the grille with Nissan’s logo at the centre, flanked by slim LED DRLs that are further connected by a chrome strip. The MPV will also feature “Gravite” lettering on the lower edge of the sculpted bonnet. It will also feature C-shaped silver surrounds for the fog lamps in the bumper.

Towards the rear, it will get wraparound LED taillights connected by a chrome bar, giving it a premium feel. Similar to the front, the rear will also feature C-shaped silver surrounds on the bumper.

While we are yet to see the interior of the upcoming Nissan Gravite, it is expected to come loaded with a host of comfort & convenience features such as height adjustable driver seat, auto AC, rear AC vents for 2nd & 3rd row, digital TFT cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keyless entry with push button start/stop, and cruise control

For passengers’ safety, it gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill assist, front & rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring system and much more.

The Gravite will sit on the same CMF-A+ platform as the Renault Triber and is expected to share its 1-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated engine (72PS/96Nm) that comes with both 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options. We would love to see if Nissan also introduces the Gravite with the 1-litre turbocharged petrol mill.

Expected Price

We expect Nissan to price the Gravite between Rs 5.50 lakh and Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it as an affordable alternative to the Maruti Ertiga and Toyota Rumion.
