The upgraded Tigor EV, with a revamped design, updated features, and a bigger battery pack, hit the Indian market in August 2021. And now, Tata Motors has launched this electrified sedan in Nepal as well. It will be available in the same three variants as its Indian counterpart: XE, XM, and XZ+.

Tata has equipped the Tigor EV with an IP67 rated 26kWh battery pack and a 74.7PS/170Nm electric motor for a claimed range of 306km (real-world range could be different). It gets a single-speed transmission with drive & sport mode. Tata claims that it can sprint from 0 to 60kmph in just 5.7 seconds.

Talking about the charging capabilities, a 25 kW DC charger can juice up its battery from 0 to 80 percent in 65 minutes, whereas the regular home AC charge will take around 8:45 hours for the same.
Features onboard the new Tigor EV include projector headlamps, LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs), push-button start, 7-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment system, Apple Carplay, and Android Auto, iRA connected car tech, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, reversing camera with adaptive guidelines, and much more. It is worth noting that the Nepal-spec Tata Tigor EV is also available with the same battery and motor warranties as to the Indian version (8 years and 160,000 km).
