Skoda has launched a new entry-level variant of its flagship SUV, the Kodiaq, called the “LOUNGE”, at Rs 39.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This new trim is only offered in a 5-seater configuration.

As revealed in the table above, the new Lounge variant is Rs 3.8 lakh more affordable than the Sportline trim. For this price gap, it has fewer equipment features compared to other trims. The key highlights include: –

Skoda Kodiaq Lounge: What Does it Skip?
Compared to the other variants, the new Kodiaq Lounge trim skips amenities such as a 360-degree camera, powered adjustment for the co-driver seat and ventilation, massaging functionality for both front seats, and gesture control for the powered tailgate.
Skoda has offered the new Kodiaq Lounge trim in three colour options: Moon White, Magic Black and Graphite Grey.

Engine Details
Powering the new Lounge variant is the same 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 204PS of max power and 320Nm of peak torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with all-wheel-drive (AWD). It claims a fuel efficiency of 14.86 km/l.
