New Honda Amaze To Get Electric Sunroof, LED Lights, Bigger Infotainment System And More

The images of facelifted Honda Amaze have been surfaced online, revealing some of the changes that have been made to the sub-4-meter sedan. For those who aren't aware, the official bookings of the new Amaze have already been started for a token amount of up to Rs 21,000. Its mass production has also been commenced ahead of its launch on August 18, 2021.

Exposed by the spy images, the 2021 Honda Amaze will get a restyled front grille, new LED projector headlamps with C-shaped LED DRLs, and a slightly tweaked front bumper with new fog lamps and chroming detailing around them. Also the new is the segment's first electric sunroof feature, which is in great demand these days.

We can also see the chrome-finished door handles and new dual-tone alloy wheels (borrowed from the 4th-generation Honda City). It will also get updated taillamps with C-shaped LED elements.

Another big reveal is a larger touchscreen infotainment system and silver applique across the dashboard & steering wheel. The covering for the gear lever has also been revised. Besides, the car’s infotainment system could get connected car technology along with Alexa voice support and wireless Apple Carplay & Android Auto smartphone connectivity.

Apart from these changes, the facelifted Amaze will retain features like automatic climate control, steering-mounted controls, cruise control, keyless entry with push-button start, paddle shifters (petrol CVT only), fabric upholstery, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors with a camera.

Under the bonnet, the Amaze will continue with its existing 1.2-liter petrol (90PS/110Nm) and 1.5-liter diesel (up to 100PS/200Nm) engines, paired to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission.
