Citroen India has launched a new top-spec trim for the C3 crossover called the “X Shine”, replacing the older Shine trim. It has been priced from Rs 7.91 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand has also announced a hefty price cut of up to Rs 98,000 for the other trims.

The non-turbo variants can be had with an optional CNG kit at an additional price of Rs 93,000. While bookings for the 2025 Citroen C3 are now underway, deliveries are expected to commence from next month.

Citroen C3X – What’s New?
- Citroen has equipped the C3 X Shine with new amenities like auto-dimming IRVM, keyless entry with push button start, LED interior lighting, cruise control with speed limiter (exclusive to the AT variant), auto-folding side mirrors, adjustable headrest for front seats, and a leatherette dashboard finish for a premium appeal.
- On the exterior front, the new X Shine variants do not receive any changes except for the “C3 X” badge on the tailgate.
- The French automaker is also offering the cross-hatch with an optional 360-degree camera setup, priced at Rs 25,000.
- Features like LED projector headlamps with DRLs, LED fog lamps, alloy wheels, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, auto AC, powered side mirrors, a 4-speaker sound system, six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) have been carried forward from the previous model.

New Colour Options
- Citroen has also introduced a new Garnet Red colour to the range, which is available in monotone and dual-tone form, with a black roof.
- The brand has also replaced the previously offered Platinum Grey shade with Steel Grey.
- Other colour options – Polar White, Cosmo Blue, Perla Nera Black and Cosmo Blue with the Polar White roof– remain unchanged.
Powertrain Details
Citroen continues to offer the C3 with two engine options: a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol. Let’s take a look at their specifications: –
