New BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe Launched In India – Check Prices

The most affordable sedan from BMW, ie, the 2 Series Gran Coupe, has received a generational change update in India at Rs 46.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It is offered in two variants: M Sport and M Sport Pro.

New BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe – Exterior Design

The new 2 Series Gran Coupe looks more aggressive than before thanks to the new & more wider illuminated kidney grille, flanked by sleek adaptive LED headlamps with animated DRLs that also work as indicators.

Further elevating its sporty appearance are the reworked front bumper with large air intakes, coupe-like silhouette, sharp character lines and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Towards the rear, the sedan features sleek LED tail lamps with arrow detailing and a sculpted bumper with prominent black accents and red reflectors.

Compared to its previous iteration, the new 2 Series GC is 20mm longer, 15mm wider, and 15mm taller. BMW has also raised its ground clearance by 19mm.

BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe – Interior Design and Features

The new 2 Series GC feels premium. Its sharply contoured dashboard has an angular, driver-focused layout. Furthermore, the use of soft-touch materials, layered surfaces and crisp lines adds a sporty, premium and modern flair to the cabin.

It features a large curved display that seamlessly combines a 10.7-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 10.24-inch digital driver’s display. For creatures’ comfort, the new 2 Series Gran Coupe gets powered front seats with memory function for the driver, split folding rear seats (40:20:40), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, wireless smartphone charger, digital key support, dual-zone AC, rear AC vents, a heads-up display (HUD) with augmented navigation and much more.

The other notable features include ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, 7 airbags (including a central front airbag), ISOFIX anchors, front & rear parking sensors, a 360-degree surround view system, traction control, auto-parking, reversing assist, and a handful of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

BMW offers it in two theme options: Oyster (beige) and Mocha.

2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe – Powertrain

At the heart of this Bavarian Gran Coupe is a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine, replacing the older 2-litre, 4-cylinder unit. This new mill generates 153PS & 230Nm, and comes paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. It claims a fuel efficiency of 16.35 kmpl.

The 2 Series Gran Coupe continues to rival the likes of Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine and Skoda Superb L&K.
