A few days back, we informed you about Mahindra's two new trademark filings – 'Mahindra Javelin' and 'Javelin by Mahindra' – which have been registered for the special edition of the XUV700 to be awarded to the Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra. Now, images of this Javelin Edition have been leaked on the web, revealing some exclusive design elements which will not be there in the standard model.

Going by the spy shots, the XUV700 Javelin Edition will come finished in Midnight Blue exterior paint scheme, featuring gold treatment for the vertical elements of the front grille and brand's logo. While the side & rear profile of the SUV is yet to be seen, we expect a similar kind of gold therapy for its rear logo and wheel hub caps. Besides, it could also get special Javelin badging on the side fender and tailgate of the car.
Inside the cabin, the dashboard design remains identical to its standard model, except for the gold stitching and '87.58' embossing to praise the record-breaking throw of the Neeraj Chopra at the 2020 Olympics games.
While the technical specifications of the Mahindra XUV700 Javeline Edition are yet to be revealed, we already know that the standard variant of the SUV will come with both petrol and diesel engine options. Here's a look at their specifications: –
