MoRTH Proposed Waiver Of Registration Fee On EVs

At present, some states across the country, including Delhi, have already waived off the Registration Certificate (RC) issuance fee for electric vehicles in their respective. In addition, they are also giving purchase incentives of up to Rs 1.5 lakh, depending on the vehicle category.

As of now, this proposal is available for comments. So, if you have any objections or suggestions regarding the proposal, you may write to the Joint Secretary (MVL), Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Transport Bhavan, Parliament Street, New Delhi-110001 or email at comments-morth@gov.in
