MG ZS EV Gets Huge Price Cut of over Rs 6 Lakh

In a surprising move, JSW MG Motor has slashed the prices of the ZS EV by up to Rs 6.14 lakh. With this, it is now priced from Rs 16.75 lakh to Rs 20.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Here’s a look at its variant-wise revised price list: –

The range-topping Essence dual-tone trim has received the highest price cut among all, bringing its price in line with the single-tone trim.

For those unaware, MG also offers its EVs with a battery subscription plan, prices of which have also been lowered by up to Rs 5.25 lakh.

Aside from the price revision, the MG ZS EV remains unchanged.

Powertrain

Powering the MG ZS EV is a 177PS front axle-mounted electric motor that draws its charge from a 50.3 kWh unit and claims a range of up to 461 kilometres on a single charge.

Features and Safety

Regarding features, the ZS EV comes equipped with amenities like automatic LED projector headlamps, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car tech, a 7-inch digital cluster, a 6-way powered driver’s seat, auto AC with rear AC vents, panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, cruise control, leather seats and many more.

For safety, it gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, electronic parking brakes with auto-hold, ISOFIX child seat anchors, hill hold assist, hill descent assist, heated ORVMs, tyre pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree camera and an ADAS suite.

The MG ZS EV locks horns with the Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric, and the upcoming Maruti e-Vitara.
