MG Motor India has announced a new program called the ”MG Charge” to establish 1,000 chargers for electric vehicles (EVs) across the country’s residential areas in 1,000 days, i.e, by 2025. The brand will collaborate with resident welfare associations (RWAs) and install SIM-enabled Type 2 AC fast chargers, which will be operational around the clock and will be supported by a remote Charger Management System. These can be used for non-MG electric cars as well.
MG claims that this will encourage more buyers to adopt the EV lifestyle as it address the charging concern of the customers.
