JSW MG Motor India Launches Industry-First EV Ecosystem Initiatives at DriEV.Bharat

JSW MG Motor India introduced a series of pioneering electric vehicle (EV) innovations at the DriEV.Bharat event in New Delhi. Partnering with key industry players, the event highlighted the company’s commitment to advancing EV technology and promoting faster adoption of electric vehicles.

  1. eHUB by MG: The industry’s first and largest EV charging platform by an OEM, offering a seamless charging experience with access to almost the entire charging network of the country with major providers like Adani Total Energies Limited (ATEL), BPCL, Chargezone, and more, simplifying the process of locating, reserving, and paying for charging stations. The app supports 11 languages and includes trip-planning features.
  2. Project REVIVE: An initiative to repurpose used EV batteries in partnership with TERI, Lohum, and BatX. It aims to provide renewable energy storage systems for community applications, promoting sustainability and supporting India’s clean energy goals.

  1. EVPEDIA: India’s first dedicated EV education and knowledge platform. It offers comprehensive information on EV technology, benefits, costs, and maintenance, aiming to enhance consumer awareness and promote broader EV adoption and foster informed decisions about EV ownership.
  2. MG-Jio Innovative Connectivity Platform (MG-Jio ICP): A collaboration with Jio, featuring in-car gaming, entertainment, learning, and superior voice capability in six Indian languages. It includes the innovative Home-to-Car functionality.

These initiatives by JSW MG Motor India aim to redefine the future of electric mobility in India, empowering both the industry and customers with smarter, more sustainable choices.
