Prices Of MG Hector Plus Increased By Up To Rs 45,000

Morris Garages launched the Hector Plus in July 2020 at a special introductory price which starts from Rs 13.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Now the golden period has ended as the company has increased the prices of the 6 seater Hector SUV by up to Rs 45,000.

Takeaway:- 

  • Price of base-spec Style diesel variant carries the maximum premium of Rs 45,000. While the price of base Style petrol variant hiked by Rs 24,000.

  • The mid-spec Super (diesel), Smart (petrol-DCT) and Smart (diesel) demand a price rise of Rs 4,000.

  • Prices of Sharp (diesel) and Sharp (petrol-hybrid) have been hiked by Rs 14,000 respectively.

As it is clear from the above tables, MG Hector plus comes with both petrol and diesel engine. Its petrol motor also gets 48-V mild-hybrid technology in Sharp variant. Both the powering units are the same as the 5-seater Hector. Their specifications are as follows:-

The diesel engine is available with all four variants. However, it only comes mated with a 6-manual gearbox. On the other hand, the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine is offered with Style, Smart & Sharp variants. One can also opt for this petrol motor with 48V mild-hybrid system coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox, that too with top-spec Sharp variant only.
