MG Comet EV Gets Jio-Powered In-Car Hinglish Voice Services

MG Motor India has announced its partnership with Jio Platforms to provide a wide range of connected car services in its cars, including seamless integration of Hinglish Voice Assistant-enabled experiences. The recently launched Comet EV is the first MG model to benefit from this association.

  • As part of this tie-up, the MG Comet EV now gets Jio’s Hinglish Voice Assistant system integrated with payment & music apps, connectivity platform, and hardware.
  • It understands various Indian regional dialects and tones from across the nation.
  • One can activate the system by saying, “Hello Jio”, followed by voice commands in Hinglish to perform various automated operations like turning the AC on/off, playing songs/radio, or asking about cricket scores, horoscope, weather updates, news, etc.
  • All these functions are performed with the help of Jio’s eSIM, seamlessly integrated into the Comet EV’s 10.25-inch infotainment system.
