The MG Astor is available with both cosmetic as well as functional add-ons so that buyers who want a sense of uniqueness can customize their vehicle as per his/her choice.
Taking a quick revision about the Astor, it comes in five variants – Style, Super, Smart, Sharp, and Savvy. It comes with a host of segment-exclusive features like a personal AI assistant with voice-command-based functions, Bluetooth-based digital car key, and Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) that comprises features like adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, lane keep/departure assist, rear cross-traffic alert, high beam assist, blind-spot monitoring, pilot assist, and much more.

Under the hood, it employs either a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol (140PS/220Nm) or a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (110PS/144Nm) unit. While the turbo-petrol engine comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission, the 1.5-litre unit gets a 6-speed manual and an optional 8-step CVT.
In the Indian market, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti S-Cross, 5-seater Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector, Tata Harrier, Nissan Kicks, Skoda Kushak and Volkswagen Taigun are available as alternatives to MG Astor.
