Maruti Suzuki Super Carry Is Now More Powerful

Maruti Suzuki has upgraded its Light Commercial Vehicle, the Super Carry, with a more powerful petrol engine. The updated model also receives a new CNG Cab Chassis variant.

  • Powering the new Maruti Suzuki Super Carry is a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder DualJet DualVVT petrol engine from the K-Series that makes 80.7PS of max power at 6,000 rpm and 104.4Nm of peak torque at 2,900 rpm.
  • This new engine is mated to an upgraded 5-speed manual gearbox that offers improved gradeability, allowing customers to drive up steeper gradients than before.
  • This mini truck also comes with a CNG powertrain that makes 71PS at 6,000 rpm and 95Nm at 2,800 rpm.
  • Dimensionally, the SuperCarry measures 3,800mm in length, 1,562mm in width, and 1,883mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,110mm.
  • The maximum payload capacity of the SuperCarry Petrol version is 740 kg, while the CNG version can carry up to 625 kg of load.
  • Speaking of the features, it comes equipped with front disc brakes, an engine immobilizer, reverse parking sensors, and seat belt reminders. The CNG trims also feature a 5-litre emergency petrol tank for added peace of mind.
