Maruti Suzuki Recalls Around 10,000 Units Of WagonR, Celerio and Ignis

India’s largest passenger carmaker, Maruti Suzuki, has issued a voluntary recall for 9,925 units of the Celerio, WagonR and Ingis for a possible issue in the rear brake assembly pin of these hatchbacks, which in a certain case, may break and cause a weird noise. It can also impact braking performance in the long run.

As per the Maruti Suzuki, all these possible affected units were manufactured between August 3 to September 1, 2022. The brand will soon start contacting owners of the suspected vehicles to bring their cars to their nearest authorised Arena and Nexa dealership/workshops for an inspection, and if found necessary, the faulty part will be replaced free of cost.

You can also check if your Maruti WagonR, Celerio or Ignis has been recalled by clicking here and entering your car’s chassis number (MA3 followed by a 14-digit alpha-numeric number).
